To help students identify the right boarding or day school, AHP consultants:

- Review educational and personal histories, school records, and educational testing
- Assess and help students establish educational and personal goals
- Identify and select appropriate schools
- Screen and profile students with recommended school admission offices to determine the appropriateness of each match
- Develop a timetable for the application process
- Prepare students for effective school visits and interviews
- Assist with application and essay completion
