AHP Educational Consulting has partnered with Career Treking to offer career planning services for college students and recent graduates. Since 2005, Career Treking (www.careertreking.com) has helped college students and young professionals build their resumes to identify and land the job that’s right for them in any job market.
Career Treking’s College to Careers program offers personalized job search assistance and resume building advice throughout the college experience. Meet with the staff at Career Treking throughout each year to identify courses, activities and internships that will enable college students to capitalize on the college experience to develop marketable skills and identify appropriate career choices regardless of major. Clients approach the job market with clearly defined career goals, professional interviewing skills and networking skills as well as a written job search plan designed to land the right job.
- Clients can join the program at any time throughout college and receive the following services:
- Career assessment which identifies skills, interests and workplace preferences
- A list of career options that fit within one’s unique set of skills and experiences
- Identify and develop marketable skills which will set you above the rest
- Learn how to make the most of the resources available to you on campus
- Specific career goals that fit you and work in any economy
- Articulate who you are and why you are the best person for the job
- Write a resume and cover letter that compels prospective employers to interview you
- Approach a job (or internship) interview with poise and confidence
- Create a strategic job search action plan designed to make proper use of all job sources available
Meetings can be done in person, over the phone or by webcam.
